Azure Data Engineer - INTL - India

A Fortune 50 client is looking for Azure Data Engineers to come join their team as this client has a large project where they are trying to bring data in from external sources into their ecosystem. Currently the data is coming in from external sources such as Snowflake, Blue Yonder, and other third-party logistics software in addition to external data warehouses, and this client is looking to bring the data into their environment using ADF. With the overall goal to build reports on top of the data ingested. The files are currently coming in and API call and then getting pulled into ADF. This role is remote in India; however we are looking for someone who can work between 11:00 AM IST to 7:00 PM IST.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of hands-on Azure data engineering experienceStrong experience in Azure Data FactoryAzure Databricks for data transformationStrong expertise in SQL optimization and performance tuningDevelopment experience in programming languages like Python, PySpark, Scala etc.Experience extracting data from SnowflakeADO experience for storyboard and project trackingAbility to work in Scrum environmentGood interpersonal skills, is a "go-getter", can-do attitude is key

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with data from TPL systems (Blue Yonder preferred)Any experience with data profiling and data quality tools such as Apache Griffin, Deequ, and Great Expectations, etc.Any experience with reporting tools like Power BIAny experience with S4 HANA
