The DarkStar Group is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Laurel, MD. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, our benefits, and our $25,000 referral program.
The Role
Provide support for the installation, configuration, tuning, and management of large clusters that support data-intensive computing (Apache Accumulo) clusters that support data intensive computing. Includes installation and maintenance of tools required for the cloud environment, as well as monitoring and sustainment of the cloud environment, to include the identification and resolution of issues, problems, and trouble tickets related to the same.Required Skills
Must have experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher), job scheduling frameworks (e.g. Slurm, SGE), and managing Network-attached storage (e.g. NetApp).Knowledge of configuration management experience, e.g. Puppet, Salt, Ansible, etc.Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of five (5) years of experience writing software scripts using the following scripting languages: Bash, Lua, Perl, Python, and Ruby for software automationWithin the last ten (10) years, a minimum of five (5) years of experience planning, implementing, managing compliance for, and providing technical support for multi-system networks with Linux or UNIX-based operating systems, to include the diagnosis and resolution of issues.Within the ten (10) years, a minimum of five (5) years of experience troubleshooting and implementing network solutions for complex, high performance systems composed of Cisco equipment.About The DarkStar Group
