This candidate will be working closely with both business and technology key stakeholders.The core focus of this business analyst will be to help an exist squad help stand up new and optimized services.The senior business analyst is responsible for working closely with the squads product owner and tech lead to assist in a variety of tasks. Candidate must be comfortable working with a growing team of technologists in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment bursting with emerging technologies.Strong communication and collaboration skills are important for this role. A strong desire to drive to obtainable results with direct and frequent communication across the program is needed for success in this position.Candidate must be able to communicate effectively to multiple audiences from both technical and business perspectives. Possessing the ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries, and across companies, by building and maintaining strong partnerships is extremely important.The Expertise Were Looking For:College graduate in a technical degree that is driven to meet, or exceed, expectations.Transferable expertise in post trade lifecycle for Equity & Derivatives products.Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP).Proficient in conducting business analysis, writing requirements, designing, maintaining dynamic solutions & translating strategic objectives into action.Collaborated with database and solution architects to develop new solutions, creating relevant artifacts to deliver a functional specification, while conducting data mapping & data modeling exercise of new requirementsProficient in defining user stories to successfully execute on define-build-test cycles.Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS) and SaaS platforms a plusDeep understanding of Agile development methodologyAbility to research and learn new technologies.Proficient using Confluence & JIRAExperience working with geographically distributed teamsAbility to think strategically and accept technical directionAPI or Kafka Messaging understanding
