Overview:

The

Order Selector

is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards or safety, security, sanitation and productivity. Other general warehouse duties as required from time to time.Responsibilities:A Shift: Mon-Wed 6a-630pB Shift: Thur-Sat 6a-630pC Shift: Mon-Fr7p-330aMust have Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience.Loads and unloads freight in an efficient and safe mannerMoves product to storage area with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areasPicks orders for shipment and assembles various types of merchandise to be shippedProcess orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing loading and shipment confirmation of customer ordersOperates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner, as requiredChecks and verifies freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestationMaintains a clean, neat and orderly work areaAssists in maintaining the security of the warehouseConducts operations in a manner promoting safetyConducts sanitation functions as requestedAssists in physical inventories, as neededQualifications:

Must have Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience.High School Diploma/GED preferred.Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.Walking in the DC and around area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the customerMust have attention to detailEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
