Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiac Tele Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience, preferred CICU or IMCU experience License: Requires license, can submit with it pending Certifications: COVID-19 Vaccine required; Medical/Religious exemptions and declinations allowed Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Job Description: - Opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a Cardiac Telemetry unit.- The position requires working every other weekend, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.- Float between units or nearby affiliated hospitals may be required.- No on-call duties.- Block schedules are not required.- Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.- Completion of a 40-hour orientation is mandatory.- Candidates must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.- Modules will be completed pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours.- Travelers refusing to float may risk termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.- Communication devices will be provided if needed, or reimbursement for work-related phone use may apply.- References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required for submission.
