Senior Developer Analyst

is part of the Corporate IT team and accountable for the development, analysis and design of Lawson.Responsibilities:Fixes and develops changes to Red Prairie WMS and WLM applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelinesAnalyzes, debugs, and resolves defects in applicationsSupports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end user service requests as assignedCompletes unit and system test application changes to ensure quality of workEngages with IT business systems analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specificationsPrepares technical documentation on application specificationsCreates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentationAnalyzes and resolves development issues in a timely mannerWorks with minimal guidance; regularly participates in reviews of assigned and completed tasksPrioritizes and plans work activities; sets goals and objectives; uses time efficiently; communicates activities and results as appropriateTakes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits feedback to improve service; meets commitments

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:Required Skills and Abilities:5+ years of programming, development and analysis with JDA (RedPrairie) WMS and WLMDevelopment experience with JDA RedPrairie including: JDA Integrator, MOCA, Page Builder, Jasper Reports and NiceLabelDevelop and tune WMS purge and archive jobs, processes and efficiencies including archive instance maintenance and job configurationStrong working knowledge of WMS EMS alerts, configuration and maintenanceMonitor Red Prairie environments, review code/configuration promotion, change control, system refreshes and restoresSystem console operations and monitoringSystem configuration setups and policy maintenanceMonitor and tune performance in functional support areas using workload analysis and other predictive tools to tune system for optimal performance, policy maintenance and system configurationWorking knowledge of server and application softwareExperience with data refresh mechanisms for all environmentsWorking knowledge of database, server and storage technology, such as: client configuration, SQL scripting/programming languages, performance tuning and troubleshooting, aide in database backup/recoveryWorking knowledge of SQL server databases: able to create views, create and use stored procedures and comfortable working with SQL queriesAssist and support server patches and maintenance updatesStrong experience with Logistics and Supply Chain technologies including RF, label printers, Material Handling Equipment and VocollectGeneral working knowledge of other programming languages, multiple database management systems, and multiple development platformsGeneral knowledge of workflow, middleware and web server technologyExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated ability to develop and write technical documentationDemonstrated ability to quickly learn and develop in new programming languages, APIs, and platformsAbility to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasksAbility to work collaboratively in teams and across organizationsAbility to apply creative solutions to business problems assuring business needs are effectively metDesired Skills and AbilitiesExperience with ERP application integrations with WMSExperience with 3rd party integration softwareJD Edwards 9.1 development experienceSOA application experienceJDA Track and Trace working knowledgeEducation/Experience/Certifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems and 2+ years of experienceOR, Associate degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems and 4+ years of experienceOR, 5+ years JDA WMS development experience and 2+ years Supply Chain/Warehousing experience, in lieu of degreeTravel Requirements:Minimal: 5-10% supporting WMS go-lives, IT meetings
