Responsibilities
Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Class B CDL driver to join our elite team of drivers. Enjoy best-in-industry benefits and great pay. Our drivers remain local and return home safely after every shift.This non-exempt position is dispatched to transport construction materials to customer or various job site locations. Conducts all work in accordance with Allan Myers policies, procedures, and programs.Responsibilties:Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or work parts or for any signs of tampering.
Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt), haul to jobsite locations and deliver materials. Repeat process as needed in a safe and timely manner as directed.Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptlyComplies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook.Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Hourly Range:
* $22.00 - $24.00 , based on experience.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.1-2 years of experience on construction sites.Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License is requiredOne year of CDL driving in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater is required.Previous dump truck experience is preferred.
