Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud/Linux Systems Administrator to support the DCS TTO Integration Team. This position will support all the cloud environments, both unclassified and classified that are part of the overall DCS infrastructure footprint.
Required Skills/Experience:Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure); services provisioning, management of virtual services, familiarity with vendor Platform as a Service offeringsLinux system administration and integration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)System monitoring and maintenance to include service upgrades and security patching and IAVA managementTroubleshooting of services (Tier 1/2 level)Experience with container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesConfiguration management support, familiarity with Puppet/SIMP, Ansible, Salt, ChefFamiliarity with configuration and workflow tools such as GitLab, JiraDesired Skills:
•RPM development, deployment, and upgrade experience
Description
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance ofInformation Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and anyprocesses related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (HelpDesk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution ofproblems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status toagency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatchsystem and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loadsoperating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures networkcomponents along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improvereliability and performance.
Fifteen (15) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope,type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from anaccredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
