Job Description:As a Sr. SAP ABAP Developer/SME, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP applications. You will collaborate with the Enterprise Development team to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices and development methodologies. Your responsibilities will include coding, unit testing, debugging, and maintaining SAP applications, with a focus on delivering solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, code, unit test, and debug SAP ABAP applicationsDevelop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documentsImplement SAP ABAP applications using BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, Workflow, LSMW, Reports, SAP Script, user exits, and BDC codingWork on SAP ABAP/UI5/HTML with BTP and Fiori applicationsCollaborate with the Enterprise Development team for code reviews and knowledge sharingAdhere to development standards and methodologies, ensuring high-quality deliverablesAssist in defining and documenting SAP Best PracticesPerform system integration tasks and troubleshoot issues in ECC, SRM, BW, SOLMAN, FIORI, and GRCCreate, update, and maintain comprehensive system documentationStay current with best practices for S/4 HANA/BTP development
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
8+ years of expertise in SAP ABAP/4 programming, including BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, Workflow, LSMW, and reportsExperience with SAP ABAP/UI5/HTML, BTP, Fiori, and JAVA (NW Portal, LVM, PO)Strong knowledge of ECC, SRM, BW, SOLMAN, FIORI, and GRC systemsProven ability to create and maintain SAP design and technical specification documentsAbility to work collaboratively in an enterprise development environmentFamiliarity with S/4 HANA/BTP development best practices
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $65.00 to $95.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
