JD:As an AWS DevOps Architect, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient DevOps pipelines within an AWS environment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless deployment, automation, and scalability of applications and services.Responsibilities:
DevOps Strategy and Architecture:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define DevOps strategies, best practices, and standards.Architect and design AWS-based solutions that enhance development, deployment, and operational efficiency.Evaluate existing systems and propose improvements to optimize performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Utilize tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, AWS Codebuild and Terraform to define infrastructure as code.Automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources.Implement version-controlled IaC templates for consistent and repeatable deployments.
Containerization and Orchestration:
Proficiently work with Docker for containerization.Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.Optimize container deployment and scaling.
Automation Scripts and Lambda Functions:
Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and other relevant languages.Create AWS Lambda functions for event-driven tasks.Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Monitoring and Logging:
Implement monitoring solutions (e.g., Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus) to track system performance.Set up centralized logging for troubleshooting and analysis.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the DevOps lifecycle.Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and implement necessary controls.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline processes.Document architectural decisions, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.Proven experience in designing and implementing DevOps solutions within AWS.Strong proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code tools.Familiarity with TypeScript, HTML, and custom Backstage plugin development.Proficiency in Python, Bash, and other scripting languages.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
