Position: CDU (Clinical Decision "Observation" Unit) RNStart Date: ASAP (Tuesdays)Shift: 3 or 4x12HR options availableLength: Willing to offer 13 or 26 week contractsYears of Experience Required: 2 yearsRatios: 1:5 (D) 1:6 (NOC)Weekend Coverage: Every otherUnit Average Daily Census: 40Patient Ratio Required: 1:5Patient info: Observation, general medical, post-op PCI, post-op general and gynecological surgery, short-stay inpatient and/or extended outpatient stay, GI bleed, SBO, ESRD, CHF, COPD, chronic bi-pap/C-pap, stable CIWA.Limited isolation patients, no chemo, no peritoneal dialysis, no acute bi-pap, no hemodynamically unstable pre-op, no post-op requiring stepdown level of care.Job Requirements
Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required, NIH preferred***Floating is required. Travelers regularly float between various like units, within skill set!Schedule Information
