What You Will Be DoingAs a Software QA Engineer, you will be a key member of the ChargePoint QA team responsible for ensuring high quality standards across our product suiteYou will work closely with the Cloud and Platform Engineering and Product teams, create test plans, write and execute the test cases for ChargePoint web & mobile applicationsMaintain and/or develop automation tools/frameworks to automate functional and regression test scenariosThis position requires an individual who is a team player, an excellent communicator, creative, data driven and results orientedValidation of various charging platforms' integration with ChargePoint CloudRequirements
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering7+ years of experience in software development/testing fieldStrong knowledge and experience in software QA methodologies, tools and processesWell versed with both manual and automation testingExperience with programming languages such as Java/Python and CI/CD toolsWorking knowledge of SQL and LinuxProfessional experience with Jenkins, Jira, and GitExperience in building and maintaining automation frameworks and test cases for Frontend and APIExperience in Load/Performance testing is a plusPossess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, must be self-motivated, willing to learn new concepts, technologies and products quicklyOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independentlyKnowledge of OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) standard, integration and debugging is a plus

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $85,000 to $190,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
