Job Summary: The Radiation Therapist safely and accurately delivers a prescribed dose of ionizing radiation to a specific area within the patient according to the physician's prescribed treatment plan.Minimum Education Requirements: Completion of an American Medical Association approved Radiation Therapist training programMinimum Work Experience: NoneOther skills and abilities: Must be certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the State of Massachusetts.Equipment/Software/Certification: Varian Linear Accelerator, Varian MLC, Varian Portal Imaging and IMPAC Record and Verify System.
