Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour AM shifts, 36 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Level I trauma experience, teaching hospital, ICU, and pediatric experience preferred License: Rhode Island license required in hand (4-5 weeks processing time if not already held) Certifications: BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have: - COVID-19 vaccination and booster- Flu vaccine (medical declination accepted)- Experience in adult and pediatric care- Willingness to work weekends and holidays Job Description: - Provide respiratory care in a fast-paced environment- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team- Ensure highest standards of patient care and safety- Support and manage patients in intensive care settings- Engage in pediatric patient care as necessary- Adhere to hospital protocols and comply with all credentialing requirements- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times- Dress code: scrubs in any colorThis opportunity involves working in a high-acuity setting, thus requiring a dedicated and skilled practitioner capable of handling diverse patient needs. Comprehensive credentials are necessary prior to starting. This role does not include on-call requirements or block scheduling.
