Job Description:A client-focused approach as demonstrated by the ability to implement Information Security/Networking best practices and proceduresWorking experience configuring and monitoring Palo Alto firewallsWorking experience configuring and monitoring Juniper SRX as a VPN serviceWorking experience configuring and monitoring Juniper EX switches and implementing PoE wireless access points (WAPs)Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux system administration, containers, automation scriptsCapability to configure LDAP services and integrating them across a mixed Palo Alto / Juniper network configurationAbility to deploy and manage services that utilize LDAP, 802.1x, Gitlab, Confluence, and JiraKnowledge of scripting languages for the purpose of system administration (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Perl, etc.)Understanding and usage of automation tools to simplify security log reviewsKnowledge of globally recognized Security Frameworks / Information Security Management Systems (NIST SP 800-53, ISO27001, SOX, PCI, ITAR)Experience installing, troubleshooting and configuring network security devices, wireless access points, switches, servers, network patching, etc.

Responsibilities:

Expected results / milestones for 2024M1 Secure Network with Traffic Proxying/MonitoringService Provider to set up all networking equipment required to implement the secure network with traffic monitoring and proxying.M2 Remote Access to Red Lab Product Evaluation EnvironmentService Provider to set up the VPN equipment to accept remote connections from Linux and Windows clients into the secure network implemented inMilestone 1.M3 Wireless Network AccessService Provider to configure the wireless mesh network to allow secure connections into the secure network implemented in Milestone 1.ONGOING Long-term Operations & Maintenance (O&M)This includes keeping all servers up to date, creating and deactivating user accounts, and implementing new features.

Requirements:

Experience working with red teams and other offensive security research groupsDesign and implementation of unattributed and air-gapped networks used to conduct malware analysis and other offensive security research activities

Education:
