As the Loan Officer Assistant, you may look forward to:

Facilitating the accurate and timely completion of loan applications on behalf on the mortgage loan officer, including but not limited to:

Making initial contact and following-up with borrowersTaking loan applicationsGathering information for new loan underwriting such as credit documentation and disclosuresProviding support throughout the mortgage loan application processEntering data into the Loan Origination SystemPerforming administrative dutiesAssisting the Mortgage Loan Officer with marketing and promotion of the Loan Officer’s businessAttending Loan Officer Meetings and other necessary events, such as Real Estate office meetings and functionsCommunicating with borrowers, Loan Officer and internal support staff in a professional and courteous mannerDeveloping a network of relationships with realtors, builders, and other referral sourcesObeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

You are a person that (required skills):

Has or is able to obtain a valid NMLS numberHas a High School Diploma or equivalentHas excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.Is able to perform in a fast-paced environment typical to Mortgage Banking.You’ll be better prepared if you (desired skills):

Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteHave established relationships with Real Estate agents or other potential referral sourcesPrior experience in customer service and/or sales, real estate, or mortgage bankingPhysically you can anticipate to:

Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verballyExert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the timeHave close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentationNot substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditionsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of this job.
