The Systems Analyst formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements and devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. This includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.Responsibilities:Analysis SupportWork with functional business and technical leads team members to produce work papers key deliverables and project artifacts such as requirements user stories design documentation and other technical deliverables in the course of project executionProvide project controls for managing document versions scope change requests utilizing standard tools including SharePoint UMT360 Octane and other tools.Capture monitor and drive closure on action items risks issues decisions record and track items in logs including aging and escalations as needed.Project Management SupportSupport Delivery Manager in collecting and generating status updates for various project workstreams.Maintain project data in standard project documentation tools UMT360 Octane.TestingCollaborate with testing leads to produce and maintain relevant testing deliverables including but not limited to UAT test plan, test scenarios test cases and test data, test scripts, and expected results.Coordinate and support test execution including scheduling of resources and daily test plan execution.Provide daily status of test execution against plan.Project CoordinationMeeting scheduling facilitation scribing and distribution of meeting notesCoordination of documentation collection and sign-offMiscellaneous administrative tasks overall - To support projects under the Customer Service portfolio, and to provide general business and/or systems analysis support to Program Managers, Project Managers, and Delivery Managers.Support functions include project management/process compliance, project governance, testing and general project coordinationAdditional dutiesInstructing, directing, and checking the work of business systems analysis personnel.Acts a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.
Qualifications:Required Technical Skills:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Minimum of 3-5 years work experience preferably in a Project Management Organization and/or IT function Planning project execution operations.Typically possesses 7 or more years experience performing systems development activities.Candidate must possess extensive experience with IT projects executed under standard systems development life cycles and associated phases and processes.Full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis needed, but also the ability to consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.Must demonstrate understanding of standard project management processes procedures and documents.Possesses knowledge of the development and support of client server applications.Demonstrated ability to model, analyze, design, test implement, and maintain complex applications.Desired Skills:Experience with UMT360 Octane and/or SharePoint is desired but not required.
