We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. Job Description Manage a department of 4-6 yield and integration engineers. Responsible for developing and maintaining your team's ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment, and demonstrating strong interpersonal and communications skills. You and your team are responsible for: Partnering with process engineering, test, technology development teams and operations to continuously improve yield, quality and cost Using structured problem solving, device and process failure analysis, and data mining to identify, diagnose and implement corrective actions to complex technical issues, and further our understanding of device operation and fab processing effects Continuous development and refinement of systems to visualize and identify signals that allow for immediate response and prevention of quality excursions, and driving process capability improvements Facilitating lines of communication with internal and external customers to ensure alignment of product specifications that translate directly to measurable parameters Participating in the change control processes to ensure timely and effective process modifications Furthering your understanding of device operation and fab processing effects Collaborating in the PLM process to ensure manufacturing readiness of new technologies and products To excel in this position, the ideal candidate has some experience and working knowledge of: Semiconductor wafer processing including photo, etch, dep, clean, CMP, inspection, lift-off Programming skills in: Python, Matlab, R, JMP, SQL or similar Process control and characterization - SPC, FMEA/PFMEA, Yield, Capacity and Time study modelling Structured problem-solving (Kepner Tregoe, DMAIC, 8D, 6-sigma, etc.) Design of Experiments (DOE/ANOVA) Optical microscopy, SEM/FIB, X-Section, Profilometry, ellipsometry, wafer stress Elemental analysis methods (TOF-SIMS, EDX, & Auger) Fault isolation techniques (FIBedit, OBIRCH/TIVA, IR, & curve trace) Other desired experience/knowledge areas: Vacuum technology and equipment Hermetic packaging (WLP esp.) Infrared Imaging Requirements: BS in engineering or a physical science, M.S. or PhD. preferred 5 years experience in technical leadership leading project teams 3 years experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional projects 3-5 years as a Process, Design, Quality or Manufacturing Engineer Ability to work in cleanroom environment Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce. Salary Range: $174,900.00-$234,740.000 Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
