Our team built a highly scalable containerized gRPC microservices platform and micro-frontends web applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products built on modern technical stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and passion for delivering exceptional products to end-users.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**Responsibilities:+ Develop and Execute Test Plans:+ Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.+ Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.+ Automation Testing:+ Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Jest or Jasmine or Mocha or similar.+ Perform functional, regression, Integration, and performance testing.+ Bug Identification and Reporting:+ Identify, document, and the track software defects using issues tracking tools like JIRA.+ Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.+ Quality Assurance Processes:+ Participate in requirement reviews to provide input on testability and quality risks.+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.+ Collaboration:+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and other team members.+ Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and user experience.+ Continuous Improvement:+ Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.+ Suggest improvements to existing testing processes and tools.Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**Experience:+ 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.+ Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.+ Experience with both manual and automated testing.+ Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes cluster, Helm charts, Ingress, and containers.+ Technical skills:+ Proficient with the test automation tools such as Selenium, WebDriver, Jest or Jasmine or Mocha or similar.+ Familiarity with programming languages like Python JavaScript react next.js.+ Experience with version control systems particularly GitLab.+ Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.+ Understanding of web technologies+ Understanding of GRPC and micro services+ Soft skills:+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.+ Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.+ Preferred qualifications:+ Experience and testing microservices and distributed systems.+ Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or roadrunner+ Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.+ Certification in software testing**Pay Information**Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
