Job Title:
Analytics Engineer
Location:
Nashville, Tennessee - willing to go onsite 1 day a week
Pay: 120-125K plus bonus
As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role within the Business Intelligence (BI) team, responsible for creating and managing datasets, building data pipelines, and supporting the company's analytics and BI initiatives. You will collaborate with business partners to develop data models, pipelines, and visualizations, enhancing the organization's ability to make data-driven decisions. This role requires strong communication skills, as you will frequently present to executives and work across departments to meet strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:Partner with stakeholders to understand analytics needs and deliver reports, dashboards, and data models.Build data aggregation pipelines using Python, Spark, or SQL, optimizing performance and productivity.Implement and maintain data warehouses or data lakes, ensuring data quality and accuracy.Create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.Collaborate with data scientists to integrate predictive models or machine learning algorithms into workflows.Provide training and support to business users on BI applications and develop ad hoc reports.Qualifications:
Experience:
4+ years in data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, or a related field.Skills:
Expertise in data modeling and data analysis.Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data warehousing tools like Snowflake.Analyst and clean data within SnowflakeExperience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure) and programming languages/tools (Python, JavaScript).Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI.Advanced communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executives.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
