Role: QA Automation Selenium
Job Summary:
A skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join the quality assurance team. The candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and a keen eye for identifying potential software issues.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Automated Tests:
Design, write, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for various applications.Collaborate with Development Teams:
Work closely with software developers to understand the code structure and design automated tests accordingly.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automated test scripts.Identify and Report Bugs:
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.Work with the development team to resolve bugs and verify fixes.Maintain Test Environments:
Set up and maintain test environments, including test data and test environments.Ensure that test environments are kept up-to-date with the latest software builds and configurations.Continuous Improvement:
Continuously improve the automation testing process and test scripts.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing.Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Document and report test results and metrics to stakeholders.Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG).Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.ISTQB or equivalent certification.
Salary Range - $90,000 - $120,000 a year
