Responsibilities:
Peraton is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer (SE) to lead a new effort with one of our longstanding customers. In this role, (SE) would provide technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of physical and virtualized infrastructure systems. The SE is responsible for the design and engineer virtual infrastructure leveraging various Hyper-visors, and VOi technologies to include Hyper-V, XenServer, ESXi, and VMWare. The SE shall design, build, maintain, and support a variety of workstation and server images to include both Windows and Linux operating systems. The SE shall design, build, maintains, and supports automated system patching and software deployment. The SE shall develop detailed network design diagrams and documentation. Qualifications: Eight (8) years of experience with the following:
Designing and engineering virtual infrastructure; building and supporting desktop systems using Windows operating systems Designing workstations and servers' infrastructures for high latency, low bandwidth networks using satellite or cellular broadband technologies
Five (5) years of years of experience with the following
Design and engineer virtual infrastructure leveraging various Hyper-visors VOi technologies to include Hyper-V, XenServer, ESXi, and VMWare Windows and Linux operating systems Supports automated system patching and software deployment Develop detailed network design diagrams and documentation
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA (equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Forensic Science or related fields accepted in lieu of a degree) Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI and poly Preferred Experience: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or equivalent level of certification is desired.
