Gator Dredging - Off-Road Dump Truck Operator Position

Please Note:

The project we are currently hiring for is for local applicants only and you must have a reliable way of transportation to the site. The duration of this project will be 3 to 4 months long.

Starting Hourly Pay Range for This Position: $18.00 to $22.00 . This is based on previous work experience, skills, and current certifications / professional licenses.

Job Responsibilities for The Off-Road Dump Truck Driver:Operate Off-Road trucks to transport and /or stockpile sand, dirt, aggregate, and other materials and/or equipment to various locations on the job site.Maintaining the machine you drive, checking oil and water, performing safety evaluations, and following directions to haul and dump loads accordingly.Performing manual labor and other related duties as necessary on the job site.Working outdoors in potentially wet and dusty conditions, andEnsure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.Help identify hazardous conditions on the job site.Maintaining a daily truck log and other important paperworkClean trucks as scheduled and/or required.Use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.Report any damage immediately to the supervisor.Qualifications for The Off-Road Dump Truck Driver:

Must have at least 2 years of experience operating an Off-Road Dump Truck.Enjoy working as part of a team.MUST be motivated and able to work independently.Experience operating an excavator and other construction equipment a plus.Previous dredging experience a plus.A valid driver's license must be maintained throughout employment.OSHA Certification a plusPhysical Demands/Work Environment:

Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use sit, use hands, talk/hear; Frequently will reach with hands, may need to work with hand underwater without seeing; Occasionally will stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell.Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds.Employee Benefits.
