LEAD AWS DEVOPS ENGINEER

Qualifications:Experience with the core AWS services, plus the specifics mentioned in this job descriptionExperience with Docker and Kubernetes; Having used ECS or EKSKnowledge of tools like Helm, Artifactory, SonarQube, etcExperience with building or maintaining cloud-native applicationsGood background in Linux/Unix administrationKnowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or TerraformPrevious exposure to large-scale systems designProficiency in at least one language from our stack: C# TypeScriptStrong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)Ability to troubleshoot distributed systemsResponsibilities:

Lead AWS DevOps Engineer will define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenanceDesign, implement, maintain, and support platform services associated with the CI/CD pipelinesConfigure monitoring and alerting systems for applications and platform servicesWork with leadership and be accountable for aligning the team to architectural, technical, functional, and performance guidelines related to CI/CD pipelinesAs a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer, you will define service capacity planning strategiesImplement the application's CI/CD pipeline using the Jenkins, GitHub Actions or AWS CI/CD stackWrite infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, CDK or similarExperience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stackExperienced AWS DevOps responsible for making apps more scalable and reliableUnderstanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologiesUnderstand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it and oversee CI/CD pipelines to maximize productivityExposure to Agile practices/Methodologies
