Job Summary
Provide cloud software research, development, and engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis/resolution.
**Please note: This job requires an existing NSA Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph**
Technology: AWS,Terraform,Go, Python with PyTest, Drools, Java 18, Kubernetes, Jason, XML, GitLab, GitFlow, CI/CD, Terraform Enterprise and Vault, Linux, Cucumber, JUnit5, RMF, Strong background in IAM policy and permission boundaries
Responsibilities:Strong background in IAM policy and permission boundariesDevelop and maintain shipping and sustaining applications deployed in containers and Kubernetes environments, primarily using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service(EKS)Developing, publishing, and maintaining reusable Terraform modules to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.Developing and maintain python-based applications using pytest and cucumber framework OR recent Java with Junit5. Junit 4 experience acceptable provided candidate trains and demonstrates competence with Junit5 prior to EOD.Creating, implementing, and maintaining IAM Policies, Roles, Permission Boundaries, and SCPs across multiple AWS Organizations.Use of Terraform Enterprise and Vault Enterprise to manage IaaS, securing sensitive data, and automating workflows.Mentor teammates to improve their skills, provide both primary and secondary technical review, and offer design, architectural and/or process improvements.Experience Needed:

Active Top-Secret SCI with PolyAWS, with a strong background in IAM policy and permission boundaries including implementation experience and communications skillsTerraform, both using and authoring modules and providers in Go. Terraform Enterprise and Vault Enterprise a big plus.Python, particularly PyTest; JUnit testing may also be neededDeveloping, shipping, sustaining applications in OCI containers and Kubernetes (primarily EKS).Familiarity with the RMF process, NIST800-53, and some experience with building and accrediting systems in the gov't spaceJSON, XML manipulation, validation, schema reading and authoringGitLab, particularly building, using, versioning, refining and sustaining complex, multilayered GitLab CI/CD pipelinesWith the most recent experience being no more than (1.5) years past, a minimum of sixteen (16) years of experience programming with at least one (1) object oriented language, such as but not limited to Java, Python, C++ or Go, or sixteen (16) years of experience building large platforms by integrating open source or commercial software together with automation scripting.Demonstrated experience designing and developing applications in a Linux operating environment.5 years functional experience with containerization technologies like Docker8 years functional experience deploying applications to container orchestration technologies such as but not limited to KubernetesAn additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for all minimum requires listed above with an active Certified Kubernetes Application Developer status. This may be stacked with active CKA status.An additional one (1) year of experience may be substituted for all minimum requires listed above with a status of an Open Source project maintainer in open industry.
