Forensic Accounting Analyst
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To perform forensic analysis of financial data relating to various aspects of calculating economic damages including, but not limited to: business income loss, extra expense, stock/inventory loss, and personal injury wage loss.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Calculates the economic impact of events on a business or individual.Performs detailed analysis in Excel and presents it in an organized format.Conducts forensic analysis of financial data, i.e., profit and loss statements, payroll records, invoices, etc.Assists with the preparation of forensic accounting calculations and reports.Generates ad-hoc reporting and analysis as directed.Establishes and manages workflow of files and calculations.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.Supports the organization's quality program(s).Travels as required.QUALIFICATIONS
Education & LicensingBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. CPA or CFE license is preferred.
ExperienceFive (5) years of public or forensic accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Knowledge of financial data analysisGood Oral and written communication skills.PC literate, including Microsoft Office productsAnalytical and interpretive skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to multitaskAbility to work in a team environment and/or independentlyAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 USD annual salary. Role is eligible for revenue-based bonus. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
