DevOps EngineerDay 1 Onsite Austin, TXLong term contractHybrid 3 days onsite / weekDirect client opportunity*Client is looking for 10+ years exp candidate*Job Duties:Collaborate with customers, and cross-functional teams in AWS and internal cloud environments to evaluate, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues, proposing potential solutions and improvements.Design and develop automated testing tools, test plans, and procedures using Docker and Kubernetes as container services to ensure product quality, release readiness, and compliance with industry standards.Maintain and develop Linux scripts and automation using Python for efficient application and infrastructure maintenance, adhering to best practices in iterative software development.Document software defects, operational activities, and design procedures in cloud environment while coordinating with technical support and providing feedback to developers on usability and functionality.Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hrThe specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
