Job Title : SRE Cloud ArchitectLocation : Boston, MAHire Type : FTESummary:We are seeking a skilled Cloud Lead Architect to join our dynamic team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in cloud architecture, design, and implementation, focusing on delivering scalable and secure cloud solutions. While seeking candidates with a depth of knowledge, we also value those looking to grow their technical capabilities as we refine our cloud strategies.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement cloud architecture solutions that align with business requirements.Lead the migration of on-premises applications to GCP.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define accessible cloud strategies and best practices.Ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design.Strong knowledge of GCP Cloud Platform.Familiarity with containerization technologies (Kubernetes Preferred GKE).Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).Experience with AWS and Azure is considered a plus.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Skills:Cloud certifications - GCP.Understanding of
DevOps practices
and tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Jenkins), with an eagerness to deepen practical knowledge in
CI/CD pipeline
configurations.Basic awareness of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, with a willingness to expand practical skills in automation.Familiarity with microservices architecture.A determination to improve abilities in drafting solution design documents and contributing to technical architecture.
