Work-Life Balance with Predictable Schedule: Maintain a healthy work-life balance with consistent weekday clinic hours (Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM) and a shared call schedule that eliminates the demands of overnight deliveries and routine prenatal care. High Patient Volume and Strong Referral Network: Benefit from a strong referral base established with network OB-GYNs, ensuring a steady flow of patients (averaging 80 patients per week) and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with families facing complex pregnancies. Supportive Team Environment and Advanced Resources: Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a Level III NICU within the same facility, ensuring seamless care coordination for your patients. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment to perform a variety of prenatal diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis (preferred), chorionic villus sampling (CVS) (if applicable), percutaneous umbilical cord blood sampling (PUBS) (if applicable), and intrauterine transfusion (if applicable). What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive consultations with pregnant women referred by OB-GYNs to assess potential fetal anomalies, provide genetic counseling guidance (in collaboration with a dedicated specialist), and develop personalized management plans. Perform a variety of prenatal diagnostic procedures, utilizing advanced ultrasound technology for detailed fetal anatomic surveys and monitoring fetal development. Collaborate effectively with referring OB-GYNs, neonatologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care for your patients with complex pregnancies. Offer ongoing patient education and counseling regarding high-risk pregnancy concerns and potential treatment options. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within the electronic medical records system. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in maternal-fetal medicine and participate in continuing medical education opportunities. Who You Are: Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Active state medical license in Indiana (required upon hire). Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or eligibility for certification (required upon hire). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
