SMART Physician Recruiting is seeking a Cardiac anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum assignment near Tampa, FL. The position is primarily at one facility, but the role will be split between 2 nearby locations. Applicants will primarily be doing cardiac cases, however, there will be other cases mixed in. There is call at this location approximately 8 per month. The site is also medically supervised. Candidates must have TEE certification and a FL license in order to be considered for this position. • Locum Rate: $2000/shift • Locum Benefits: Paid travel, lodging (if outside of 60 mi radius), and malpractice (with tail) • Cases: Cardiac, Spine, Neuro, Ortho, Vasc, ENT, Transplants (liver and kidneys) • Medical Direction: yes • Call/OT Rate: $270/hr • Call: every 4th night (averages 8 calls per month), also has a resident and CRNA on call.
