  • Coverage Needed:
    • October :00 am - October :00 am
    • October :00 am - November :00 am
    • November - December

  • Clinical Information:
    • Thoracic surgeon onsite and need the mitra clip and TAVR procedure coverage
    • Two doctors on per shift everyday
    • Call:
      • can stay at the hotel
      • 24 hour in-house coverage with after hour call coverage
    • Consults and rounding required
    • Provide cardiovascular surgery hospital call coverage
    • Mid-levels to provide hospital support
    • EMR: Epic
    • Daily patient volume: 5
  • Required:
    • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
    • Current Flu Vaccine
    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
      • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
    • Active GA License
    • Required Procedures/Skills: Robust Mitra clip and TAVR programs, thoracic and aortic repair
    • Must be board certified or board eligible
    • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency training program in general thoracic surgery, or an AOA approved residency training program in thoracic cardiovascular surgery
    • Experience: 125 major cases in the last 12 months, including but not limited to the following procedures; Lungs, pleura, chest wall Esophagus, mediastinum, diaphragm Congenital heart anomalies Valvular heart diseases Myocardial revascularization Cardiac pacemaker implantation Mediastinoscopy Pleuroscopy Flexible and rigid esophagoscopy and bronchoscopy Endoscopic ultrasound Endoscopic approaches to thoracic and esophageal diseases Multidisciplinary approaches to treatment of thoracic malignancy Thoracic aorta and great vessels Endovascular stents
