Crozer Keystone has an exciting new opportunity for the Medical Director for the Internal Medicine Resident- Faculty Integrated Ambulatory Continuity Practice:

Medical Director Responsibilities:

1. Resident Education

Crozer Medical Associates (CMA) Medical Director will work with Department of Medicine Chairperson and the Residency Program Director towards the benefit of the Internal Medicine Residency program:

1. Oversees outpatient residents’ experience
2. Oversee and monitor the development of residents’ schedules in CMA out-patient office
3. Work with residency program director to enhance residents’ experience at CMA
4. The Medical Director will participate in resident precepting sessions
5. The Medical Director will participate in the Clinical Competency committee

2. Oversees the Operations of the CMA practice

1. Ensure access is optimized
2. Track and monitor quality dashboard
3. Work to ensure that yearly quality goals are being monitored and met
4. Ensure that patient issues are addressed in timely fashion
5. Address physician/provider issues
6. Provide evaluations for clinical staff
7. Work with practice manager and Administrative Director to ensure compliance with, the Joint Commission and State Department of Health regulations.

3. Administrative activities

1. Participate in the annual SWOT analysis of CMA with CMA staff, administrative director and practice manager
2. Provide feedback to clinical staff
3. Develop and annually update CMA Policy and Procedure manual
4. Lead monthly CMA meetings
5. Communicate new regulatory requirements to the CMA physicians and clinical staff
6. Provide regular feedback to faculty and administrative staff regarding CMA progress
7. Report to the Department Chair regularly on progress of, and concerns regarding, CMA
