Graham Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Accountant who will perform general accounting activities; maintain accounting records that ensure that transactions are adequately supported; assist in providing financial statements, analysis, and other key management reports; perform accounting-related duties at the professional level and carry out responsibilities in functional areas such payables, receivables, payroll, and financial reporting.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:Add and ensure accuracy of general ledger entriesPerform monthly closing activities such as journal entry preparation and posting, including accruals and variance analysisPrepare month-end financial reports for multiple entitiesGeneral ledger account reconciliation and analysisReconcile deposits between the general ledger and account receivable subledgerMaintain vendors in general ledger system, review and approve company credit card and out-of-pocket expense transactionsEnsure company credit card compliance with company policiesAssist with company T&E system administration and updatesAnalyze quarterly sales staff company credit card transactions to sales budgetAssist with data requests related to periodic audits and other ad-hoc requestsWork within the regulated guidelines of internal Sarbanes-Oxley processes and company policiesSenior Accountant Requirements:Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience3-5 years of progressive accounting experience requiredAbility to work independently and within a multidisciplinary teamMedicare Cost reporting experience a plusBackground in healthcare preferredStrong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and various other software applicationsMust possess strong attention to detail, communication skills, teamwork attitude, and flexibility
