Position: JBoss & OpenShift Admin Location: Philadelphia, PA Duration: Contract Job Description: Client is seeking experienced and administrator who is having at least 7 years of experience in administration of JBoss and OpenShift. Skills and Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent major) 7-10 years of Admin experience in JBoss EAP, Apache, Tomcat 4 years of experience in administration of RedHat OpenShift/Kubernetes Handling deployment, Integration with Apache, Cluster and SSO configurations Strong Troubleshooting Skills on Middleware and Container platforms Good experience using Linux/Unix and Windows platforms with scripting. Good knowledge with Source Code Management and pipeline Communication Skills and ability to ask questions- General communication and analytical skills (non-technical). Responsibilities: Administer and manage the Middleware tools - JBoss EAP 7.x, Apache 2.x , Tomcat and OpenShift 4.x Experience in Installation of JBoss EAP in standalone and domain mode Experience in handling version upgrades and applying patches to JBoss, Apache and Tomcat. Experience in Application deployments, Apache integration, datasource creation, cluster and SSO configurations. Must have working experience in administering the Redhat OpenShift/Kubernetes. Responsible for supporting and deploying applications to various web and container platforms. Setup and maintain cluster authentication, RBAC & Security Policies. Strong troubleshooting skills is must. Should be able to resolve issue related to cluster operations and application deployments. Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance. Mus have knowledge in SSL configurations & certificate renewals. Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for OpenShift clusters. Strong experience on Linux & Windows platforms with scripting knowledge. Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning. Flexible to work in shifts & be on-call support. Resolving P1 / P2 issues as per SLA.
