Weekly Pay Range - $2045 To $2272 Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Illinois License Certifications: RRT, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Knowledge in EPIC EMR system Job Description: - Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments in the plan of care within the multidisciplinary team. - Provide explanations and instructions to patients and/or responsible individuals to ensure understanding regarding respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge. - Accept reassignment to other units when necessary. - Share clinical knowledge with staff and students; serve as a role model for clinical practice. - Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care. - Deliver respiratory care as ordered by the physician, maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff.
