Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Java Backend Developer to support our development team in creating and maintaining backend services and applications. This role involves working closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to develop scalable and efficient software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java development, be detail-oriented, and eager to grow in backend technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement backend services using Java.
•Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
•Assist in the development and integration of RESTful APIs and microservices.
•Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions to identify and resolve issues.
•Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend components.
•Assist in maintaining and improving the performance and security of the backend systems.
•Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications, code, and architecture.
•Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Java and backend development.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•5 years of experience in Java development.
•Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
•Familiarity with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
•Basic knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
•Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
•Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and experience with database queries.
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
•Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
•Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
