We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrading, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of Oracle Applications and Databases. The role requires expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and proficiency in Oracle Database technologies. As an Oracle Apps DBA, you will collaborate closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT staff to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our Oracle Applications environment.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Databases. Perform patching, cloning, and migration of Oracle Applications and Databases. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Applications and Databases. Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Oracle Applications and Databases. Ensure data security and integrity within the Oracle environment. Provide technical support and guidance to developers, system administrators, and other IT staff. Implement and enforce best practices for Oracle Applications and Databases administration. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions for business needs. Stay updated on Oracle technologies and recommend improvements or enhancements to the Oracle environment. Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps related to Oracle Applications and Databases. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven work experience as an Oracle Apps DBA or Oracle Database Administrator. Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Proficiency in Oracle Database technologies including Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c. Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware components such as WebLogic Server is a plus. Strong knowledge of Oracle Applications architecture and components. Experience with Oracle EBS modules like Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS, etc. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Oracle certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are desirable.
