Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate (Software & Technology) who will be instrumental in identifying key risks within Siemens operational and financial environments. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive audits for global software and technology businesses, with a focus on driving innovation and further developing processes and methodologies. Ideal candidates will come from a background in SaaS Finance or from a Big 4 accounting firm servicing software clients. They would bring with them a deep understanding of technology, software business models, and experience in risk management, auditing, and financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Identify key risks in Siemenss operational and financial environment and develop a deep understanding of business processes, goals, and strategies to provide insightful analysis and interpretation to management. Design and execute comprehensive audits, particularly for global software and technology businesses, addressing identified risks and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Independently drive assurance objectives, define and align conclusions, and recommend improvements to influence organizational change. Foster innovation by developing and promoting digital use cases in collaboration with our data analytics team to increase coverage and overall assurance. Lead meetings with Senior Management, driving discussions on audit observations, conclusions, and next steps. Stay current on regulatory requirements and industry trends affecting internal controls, risk management, compliance, and business operations. Basic Requirements: Audit Associate: 5 years of experience in similar roles, with a proven track record in a reputable publicly listed company or a relevant Siemens industry. BS/BA degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance. 5 years of experience with various software business models (e.g., Subscription, On-premise). 5 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Sales Finance within a software environment, or 4 years servicing software clients in a Big 4 accounting firm. 5 years of experience demonstrating strong understanding of business processes, especially those related to technology companies. Fluent in English. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%. Reside in the Plano, TX area as this is a hybrid work environment. Preferred Requirements : An MBA, CPA, ACCA, or ACA qualification is highly desirable. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus. Professional certifications such as CPA, CISSP, CISA, CISM, PMP, or CIA are preferred. Fluency in other languages along with English. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present recommendations to senior management. Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, often managing multiple projects simultaneously. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
