Schneider is seeking a Data Science Intern in Green Bay to provide support to Schneider's IT department. The Data Science Intern will create conceptual prototypes to test new concepts, deploy the prototypes and monitor the prototypes' effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the engineering and data science teams to develop and apply new concepts. Assist in creating prototype applications to implement new concepts. Communicate the value of projects to non-technical stakeholders. Internship-specific opportunities:
Networking events with Schneider associates. Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders. Business resource groups meetings and events. Volunteer activities. After-work social gatherings. Skills and qualifications:
Currently enrolled at a college or university. Working toward a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering or mathematics. Able to work full-time over the summer. Experience with mathematical modeling languages, such as DOcplex, CPLEX, Matlab and AMPL. Experience with Python or Java.
