About this role

We're looking for a collaborative go-getter who exemplifies our company values of Connect, Challenge and Own.

You will be the second hire onto our Deal Desk team under GTM Ops. This means you'll have and incredible opportunity to help lay the groundwork for this function as the company grows.

The Deal Desk works closely with partners in Sales, Rev Ops, Finance, Legal, and Product to create order forms that will drive deals to completion as well as determine our internal processes moving forward. You will provide valuable insights to advise on how our quote to cash tool stack is set up to prepare us for future scale. We are experts on our internal processes and requirements and advisors to the sales team and other teams to help the company grow.

What you'll achieveAdvise the sales team on deal structures that fit their customer's needs while maximising revenueYou'll get deep in the weeds of our deals in order to create order forms that meet our internal requirements and represent the deal wellCreate relationships with our sales team so they trust you to be a valuable player in helping us win dealsProcess orders when they are ready to close in salesforce and be sent to finance for invoicing. This will give you a fantastic understanding of how our systems currently work so we can drive improvements to prepare us to scaleApply your insights to our pricing and packaging so we can continue to evolveWork closely with other members of our GTM Ops team to create an operational powerhouse that helps push the business forwardAbout you

5+ years of experience in a mix of the following roles: deal desk, finance, order management, sales operations, or revenue roleExperience in a Deal Desk role in a company that sells large platforms preferredStrong understanding of Salesforce from an order management perspective. You don't need Salesforce admin experience, but you do need to understand how the tool works (ex. How the different objects fit together and how we could optimize our design for better data collection)Ability to think strategically when designing deals to come up with solutions that fit a customer's unique needs and maximize revenueAn eagle eye for process and ability to identify areas where we can improveStrong business acumen and understanding of the sales lifecycleTeam player who will do what it takes to manage deals across the finish line, especially at month and quarter endExperience working with revenue recognition principles and US GAAP an advantageCurious to learn more about who we are and how we operate?
