If so, we'd love to hear from you!What we are looking for:JARS Cannabis is seeking a Retail Inventory Assistant to our growing retail team. Our Retail Inventory Assistant will be responsible for involved inventory recording, compliance, and accuracy in all phases of the retail sales of cannabis products in the dispensary. Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of cannabis industry software systems. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing all products systematically received into inventory and METRC/LeafLogix, physical organization, tagging and labeling, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the store operations.Job DutiesMaintain inventory in compliance with state regulations as well as assist in the implementation of the company's policies and operating procedures on inventory controlsDefining/implementing quality control parameters and intake, inspection and proper storage of products & invoicesManages all data entry into LeafLogix and METRCCoordinates all invoice reconciliation with Accounts Payable teamEnsure products are received within METRC system and have appropriate labels before making goods available for saleProvide excellent customer service, answer questions, and assist other departments when neededIdentifies theft or diversion of products and reports incidents directlyInvestigate errors and deficiencies in inventory and ensure proper reconciliation, record and solving.Maintain an accurate log of inventory for disposalOversee METRC and LeafLogix platforms are being accurately managed and maintained for accuracy of dataHelp determine, initiate, and execute subsequent corrective actionsCollect, audit, and file required paperwork to ensure state complianceEffectively communicate with management to ensure the business has a consistent supply of inventory available to meet needsResponsible for the labeling and tagging, organizing, counting and quality checksDevelop and maintain inventory programs as "audit-ready" at all timesMonitor levels and quality of all products in the departmentAssist in cannabis inventory allocation to ensure that incoming cannabis inventory is utilized in the best possible productsUtilizing LeafLogix reporting to monitor expiring products and how to allocate/delegate the dataCollaborate closely with Company departments to include Sales, Retail, Finance, Distribution, & ComplianceExecutes and maintains a clean and orderly inventory storage roomCompletes other assignments, tasks, and duties as assigned by managementRequirementsMinimum 1 year of Inventory Management experience in retail or hospitality field requiredPrevious experience in data entry position is requiredExperience in wholesale logistics is preferred, but not requiredExceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skillsAbility to identify top talent and train/develop/retain great peopleKnowledge and familiarity with cannabis software Leaf LogixKnowledge of or a willingness to learn state specific cannabis laws and regulatory complianceMust have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel & OutlookA strong attention to detail is requiredStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsTreats people with respect, keeps commitments, inspires the trust of others, works with integrity and ethically, upholds organizational goalsStrong Math, Organizational, and Computer SkillsMust be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is requiredMust be willing to submit to a background check
