Shared Services Auditor

Shares Services Auditor
will ensure accurate billing for consistent and superior client billing experience, and to safeguard Element's financial well-being. This individual will support the Director of Billing Client Services by auditing and ensuring business processes are consistently performed and compliant with internal audit and SOC controls, and report key findings to stakeholders. The Shared Services Auditor will implement and execute audit routines to monitor performance of critical contractual and billing elements for Shared Services and all departments that have inputs to the bill, and will be responsible for identifying process and business risks as well as monitoring and testing robust processes which are documented and strongly controlled.
A Day in the Life
Establish audit criteria and checklists for all contractual billing inputs: internal Shared Services, internal Element (other departments), external vendor files Conduct specific (Tier 1, 2) client audits on regular basis. Audit all new client implementations and client changes and validate pre and post-bill charges Conduct first run yield analysis and other quality measures Conduct root-cause analyses to identify sources of billing issues; take action necessary to correct specific situations and eliminate the root cause of issue, both for individual clients and across Element portfolio Partner with key stakeholders: Rates, Billing Generation, Contract, Legal, New Business Implementation, Commercial & FPS, and other Operations and Shared Services teams as needed to assist, develop and execute implementation plans for key processes or initiatives. Conduct quality assurance/ signoff on all new or changed procedures that impact the bill Ensure all documented procedures, SOPs, and other compliance practices are always kept up to date and validated on a quarterly basis Participate in and provide support to external auditors for compliance audits, agreed upon procedures, and internal control audits Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field of study Minimum three years of progressive professional experience, including experience in a multinational company managing numerous, complex process requirements at the same time Experience in a role in Compliance, Quality Assurance, Risk Advisory, or Audit Experience assessing process risks SAP, PowerBI, Alteryx, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint skills preferred Solid PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and user level application knowledge, data entry and typing skills and be familiar with general office equipment Excellent skills in project management and analytics; pro-active, self-empowered; ability to thrive under pressure Champions change in a passionate, convincing manner that garners support; demonstrated ability to build and foster teamwork and relationships
The hiring base salary range for this position is $72,500 to $99,660 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
