The ideal candidate for this Level 2 System Integration Engineer role will have the following desired skills: Support rack, stack, and cabling; good with lifting 40-50 lbs. Foundation in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes ,and vSphere. Ansible experience is preferred. Must be wiling to travel.

The Level 2 System Integration Engineer shall:Perform system administration, maintenance , upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configurationInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications on Linux and Windows platformsMaintain and develop the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing and integrationPerform system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environmentsPrepare and update technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshootingProvide Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsProvide technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installationsCreate system-specific software baselines and related configuration files in preparation for new deployments or system upgradesProvide in-depth trouble-shooting of IT systemProvide technical leadership to less experienced engineersAnalyze and resolve complex system and integration problemsMonitor and assess system performance and security, and assist in determining the system impact, cost, risk, and recommended architecture changes

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Eight (8) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A Master's Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6). In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted.
