This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.Responsibilities+ Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues and developing and implementing corrective actions.+ Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.+ Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.+ Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.+ Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.Minimum Qualifications+ Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.+ Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.+ Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.+ Strong Linux experience+ Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.+ Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.+ Experience setting up storage such as network?attached storage.+ Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance.+ Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or CPreferred Qualifications+ Experience deploying and maintaining nginx+ Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite+ Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS+ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT, and Ansible, as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana+ Experience with SELinix and FIPSThe ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
