Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 18:00-06:30 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an acute level hospital License: Kansas State Board of Healing Arts Certifications: Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Must-Have: - Experience in an acute level hospital for at least one year Job Description: - Work in a unit with 4-5 respiratory therapists per shift - Operate a variety of ventilators including V60, EV300, GE, Servo, Drager, and AIRVO HFNC - Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records - Perform typical procedures including breathing treatments, ventilator management, non-invasive ventilation, intubation assistance, oxygen management, and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis - Exhibit a patient-focused approach, attention to detail, teamwork, a positive attitude, and an energetic demeanor - Flexibility to work weekend and holiday shifts as needed - Dress Code: Black scrubs Candidates with more than a year of experience in acute care hospitals, and ventilator, emergency department trauma, pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) experience will be given preference. Responsibilities may include floating to all areas of the hospital as required.
