Job Summary:

The Client is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our application development/support team. This individual will be responsible for developing new code and supporting existing code across the organization. The role involves working with stakeholders and development teams to design, develop, and support Salesforce and related applications using industry-standard practices and tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Salesforce platform, integrations with external systems, and transformation from Salesforce Classic to Lightning.

Key Responsibilities:•Collaborate with the Client Organization, Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance teams to create software deliverables and artifacts.•Adhere to organizational methodologies and standards, proposing improvements based on software development best practices.•Perform Lightning Web Component Development and Integration platform support (enhancements, bug fixes).•Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, rollout, and documentation creation.•Attend regularly scheduled meetings to discuss tasks and provide weekly status reports.

Required Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.•6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.•Expertise in Salesforce development, including Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows, Apex Batches, Triggers, and reports.•Experience with programming languages such as SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and CSS.•Experience with batch data and real-time stream processing on the Salesforce platform.•Strong understanding of Salesforce API integration (REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, etc.).•Extensive experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) development and customization.•Expertise in developing UI pages using the LWC framework.•Platform Developer I Certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:•Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD).•Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.•Experience with SFDC-specific IDEs and version control configurations (GitHub, BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX).•Familiarity with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.•Experience with Agile development methodologies.•Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards is a plus.•Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, is a plus.
