Examples of Typical Activities:Manage the achievement of Brand expectations by providing support, guidance, leadership and expertise to support functions (e.g. AQT, MFG, ENG, Purchasing, Project Management) and suppliersComply with all Quality Management System standards/deliverablesLead Quality department change control process through the administration, processing and resolution of all change-related requests (short-term, long-term).Optimize the manufacturing process by leading cross-functional updates to the flow, PFMEA, control plan (process control strategy, error proofing, jigs/fixtures, KCC identification) following engineering changes or in response to quality issues.Prioritize and control quality issues; provide updates as appropriate/requested (e.g. PDR, Management Review).Analyze customer (ref. subcommittee), supplier and internal data; identify issues and trends and refer to the CAPA process as appropriate.Evaluate customer returns and refer to the CAPA process as appropriate.Drive effective corrective action by leading 5-Why, CAPA and/or 8D processesProvide relevant metrics in the production phase of the product life cycle, in all phases of the business (corporate.
