Job Title: TIG Welder - Gas Turbine Alloys
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with expertise in gas turbine alloys. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup and installation of welding equipment, executing welding on gas turbine components according to technical specifications, performing quality checks, and preparing necessary quality documentation. The role also involves reporting production time for each step, setting up welding parameters, selecting consumable materials, and preparing workpieces for new welding process trials in collaboration with engineering staff. Additionally, you will design and fabricate welding fixtures, chill blocks, and purge boxes as required.Hard Skills2+ years of TIG welding experienceTIG welding on various materials such as Nickel Alloys, Inconel, Haynes, cobalt, and stainless steelJob Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in JUPITER, FL.Work Environment
Warehouse environment with AC. Must wear steel-toe shoes rated by ASTM F 2413-05 or ANSI Z41-1999, with I/C (Impact/compression), EH (electrical hazard), and SD (Static Dissipative) features. The role involves rotation between different departments to gain diverse skills. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, with shifts from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm for the 1st shift and 3:30 pm to 2:00 am for the 2nd shift.
