Documentum Expert
to work closely with USPS management on the upgrade, installation, and customization of Documentum software across USPS applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth understanding and experience with the vendor (OpenText) and know the product (Documentum fundamentals, Documentum interfaces Webtop and D2, and Captiva) or previously worked with a company/customer who was a power-user of Documentum.
HOW A DOCUMENTUM TECHNICAL LEAD/SOFTWARE SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs.Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time.Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures.Assist team with preparation of cost estimates.Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies.Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes.Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.Participates in special projects as required.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
BA/BS in Computer Science or related discipline (or 10 years of equivalent experience)Knowledge/experience of SDLC practicesEffective liaison leading technical development teams.Strong facilitation skills to effectively lead discussions across multiple groups.Oral and written communication skills including presenting to management.Knowledge/experience with Agile MethodologiesKnowledge/experience of SDLC practicesChange Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.)Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)Problem/risk managementMS Office suiteRequired Experience:
Technical Lead/Software SME experienced in leading software development teams with the following skills:
OpenText Documentum Software (D2, WebTop, Captiva)Documentum upgrade and migration experienceExtensive D2 development experienceExperience with Documentum development (java)Must be able to independently rewrite Taskspace Application into Documentum D2 (including workflows and custom jobs)Apache Tomcat EnvironmentLinux/Unix OS

The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
