Job DescriptionWho We AreThe Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team, as a whole, is very large but is broken down into many smaller agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Global team is responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies. The team is growing rapidly and we are looking for hardworking, dedicated people that will help us be successful.The WorkThis job requisition is for the JEMINI program and is open in order to fill a Network Engineer Stf position. This responsibilities for this position include:- The development, configuration control, deployment and testing of Radiant Mercury Configuration (including Rules). - The selected candidate may be required to travel to remote locations to perform CDS installations in accordance with Program configuration management processes, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel.- Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools - Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated integration engineers as well as independently at times on large field projectsBasic Qualifications- DoD TS Security Clearance required prior to starting- Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) prior to start.- Network Management and Monitoring Systems - Understanding of standard DOD security practices such as, STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts - Proven network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting experience - Proven experience with Linux OS and Ansible or other automation tools, Script experience a plusDesired skills- TS with an MDA based SCI is a plus - Experience on Radiant Mercury strongly desired - Candidates with experience planning and supporting the deployment of network infrastructure are highly desired - Prior C2BMC network experience is also a plus- Demonstrated attention to detailEEOLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
